Apple released what they were planning called the iPhone that combines a cell phone, wide screen iPod and a mobile PDA. Only thing is that you have to sign up with Cingular only and the iPhone’s rumored price is $599 for the 4 GB and $649 for the 8 GB iPhone.
While the rumored price tag is very high I’m sure it’ll cost less than that, but with the nice features maybe it will be worth that much. But only time will tell.
Some features that were reviled is the touch screen that will dim and brighten from light censors and would turn off when your talking on the phone. It’s supposedly running OS-X with a browser to surf the web and a simple email client. You’ll also be able to view pictures and play movies on it and auto rotate the image if you turn the iPhone 90 degrees.
Personally I don’t think I’ll be buying one of these any time soon, but it will be tempting. I also wonder how well the touch screen will be since Apple had problems with the Nano screens a while ago.
