Imperial Code

This mission’s goal is to kill Saio (I-8), Oko (G-8) and Danzo (H-8) in any order but best to kill them in that order to save time because of the one way paths. After each one killed will leave a ??? where their body disappears. The first two can be ignored, but make sure someone clicks on the last one because it will have the key item you need to complete the mission.

The normal monsters in this mission are the Kusa (Fomor) Ninjas that aggro by true sight and link and the Kudagitsune (Bhoot) aggro by sound and low hit points.

Microsoft Surface

I was looking at multi touch screens a while ago and thought it would be cool to have. It looks like Microsoft picked up the rights to produce it and they called it Surface.

I hope this catches on because being able to interact with a computer with multiple inputs at the same time would hopefully make using a computer easier as well as a challenge as a programmer dealing with multiple users/inputs at the same time.

Bad Customer Service From Telefloral.com

So for valentines day I ordered some beautiful flowers for my girl friend from Telefloral.com and I was promptly billed and when the time came they never delivered. Sent them an email about it and no response until the next day which was an “automated” response while they claim they have 24 hour service. Past 24 hours from the email and never got an email back from them about anything.

So I call them up and waited for at least 40 minutes listening to their telemarketing advertisements while being on hold talked to a representative and said the status is currently being processed and it should arrive today or tomorrow. So I wait till the next day and and still nothing.

I called them up again and of course they tried to keep my business that they’ve long lost after the mis information from the first call. I asked for a full refund that I was told I’d get if it wasn’t delivered today and they still tried to assure me that they’ll deliver the flowers that are still being processed 2 days after they were supposed to be delivered. Finally they said OK your credit card should be fully credited in the next 5 business days. This by far was the worst service I have ever had from any business in my life. I will never order from them again nor will I want anyone I know to do any business with them.

WordPress 2.1 Ella Released

New version of WordPress released with a bunch of new features as well as bug fixes. More details on what was changed can be read on WordPress’s Release Notes.

Ruby on Rails 1.2 Released!

I watched a recording of David Heinemeier Hansson Rails Conference 2006 Keynote Address not too long ago and got me pretty interested in the newer way of thinking and programming for web applications.

The new version of Ruby on Rails that has the new features that David Heinemeier talked about in his keynote address finally released. It also has better support for UTF-8 and implemented REST into the core and deprecated old functions that were replaced with better functions and plug-ins.

I personally don’t know much about ruby at the moment, but learning it now as well as the REST method and looking forward to the final results.
